1989 Toyota extra cab mounted on a 1977 chevy blazer frame.
Engine ; 1989 Chevy T.B.I police interceptor, installed via painless wiring harness with 1989 Corvette roller top end , has around 30k , new alternator, serpentine belt , cap rotor, spark plugs. Also has 100 h.p wet shot of nitrous oxide hooked up via full throttle switch and off-on toggle switch. Has Hooker Headers ran into dual exhaust with flowmaster 40 series mufflers. 4 core aluminum radiator, dual 10” electric fans.
Transmission ; Built turbo 350 with a bunch of shit upgraded inside , manual shift via. B&M pro ratchet shifter.
203 transfer case with the heavy duty chain and part time kit. Off-Road-Designs twin stick shifter, one stick for in and out , one stick for high and low. Gives ya a 2 low option.
Front Diff is a 1979 3⁄4 ton chevy small hub 8 lug dana 44. Has new calipers , pads , braided steel brake lines , pinion bearing , carrier bearings, wheel bearings , all new ball joints , axle u-joints , solid diff cover , knuckle gussets. Locked up with a Detroit true-track clutch style locker 4:10 gears. Off-road-designs super strength tie rod , with 1 ton tie rod ends. New steering box , borgeson steering shaft.
Rear is a full float 14-bolt out of a 1979 Chevy 4x4 it has new , wheel bearings , wheel seals , full disk brake conversion using chevy front calipers and braided brake lines , pinion guard , solid diff cover , Detroit no spin locker , 4:10 gears.
Interior has corbeau seats , all auto meter gauges installed in a custom aluminum dash incert , auto meter tach , everything runs via toggle switches across center of dash in a custom aluminum switch panel . Aftermarket lights run off another switch panel with lighted rocker switches. No stereo. Engine Computer mounted under glove box. No extra cab seats , nitrous oxide bottle mounted behind driver seat.
A few other things : 1 ton gm master cylinder conversion , 6” pia driving lights , led driving light pods , old school dick cepeck amber glass lense fog lights , back up lights , custom built rock sliders , H4 headlight conversion , custom built front tube bumper , 12k badlands winch. All wiring is ran threw an aftermarket fuse box and relays on a custom mount under the hood. Under hood light ran threw a negative door switch mounted under hood , so they turn on when you open hood and shut off when closed. Deep cycle battery , K&N air filter , New 37x12.5x17 Dick Cepeck Extreme Mud Tires on 17x9 dick cepeck DC2 wheels. Blue lights under dash and under cab , can be turned on full time , off full time or set to turn on when either door opens. Tilt column out of a 1993 4-runner , needs bezel around column. Bushwacker fender flares , diamond plate tool box , outside is coated with hurculiner bedliner then painted smoke grey with rustolium. Very durable and easy to replicate in case ya need a new fender or ??? Body part. Brand new 30 gallon fuel tank , new fuel pump and sending unit. Fuel tank skid plate.
I have owned this truck for 15 plus years. It will take you anywhere you want to go. Drives amazing down the road at any speed. Can tow anything that a fullsize 3⁄4 ton chevy truck can. Cause that’s basically what it is. Stops amazing with the 4 wheel disc brakes and gm master cylinder . I have traveled all over Oregon with it and towed a loaded car trailer now and then with no issues. I don’t need to sell it , but I don’t use it much anymore.
