1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 LV…Lovingly rebuilt daily driver, for sale. $18,000
F Engine is reliable and runs very well and doesn’t burn oil. It has plenty of power. Unknown miles on the F Engine due to odometer rebuild. Electronic ignition. Headers and Lots of other new parts. Compression new is 150 and current wet compression readings are 145-140-130-135-145, so lots of life left.
- New Weber 38⁄38 Carburetor with Dust vortex oil bath air cleaner/snorkel kit (from ford 8n tractor). Electric fuel pump.
- Dual batteries with charging isolator, Optima red main system and yellow top battery accessories. New Alternator and voltage regulator.
- Restored drivetrain 4 speed transmission, transfer case, balanced drive-lines and new u-joints.
- New drum brakes, drive-line parking brake, wheels and tires, master cylinder and brake booster.
- Ball joints/steering linkage restored.
- Manual steering box needs new seals.
- Old Man Emu suspension with grease zerks, anti-reverse shackles, new pro-comp shocks and 2 inch lift.
- Ball hitch and trailer plug with adjustable BOSS air bag suspension in back.
- Electrical system rewired.
- Winch, Northern 9000#, with cover and roller fail-lead.
- Led off road lights.
- Interior restored: New upholstery, Bed Rug floor covering, auto carpet headliner, seat/shoulder belts, leather wrapped steering wheel and Australian dash.
- Period correct Midland telephone style CB, Kraco AM/FM Radio and speakers, FMRS/FRS/ Radio.
- Heavy Duty Diamond Roof Rack and Ladder.
- Halogen headlights with crystal glass housings.
- Twin fuel tanks with new front poly fuel tank included to install.
- Brush guard/ heavy duty bumper.
- Undercoating.
- 3⁄16 Aluminum Diamond Plate on tub, running boards and fender tops. (not hiding rust but body shop replaced metal).
- Gauge cluster restored and LED lighting.
All but hood and windshield frame painted with a Farm/Industrial Poly paint 12 years ago, so could use some paint attention (rock chips/surface scuffing and resulting surface rust).
