1974 CJ5

  • 4” lift
  • 33” tires with less than 2k miles
  • Dana 30 front, open diff, 3:73, disc brake conversion
  • Dana 44 rear, track-lok posi unit from an isuzu, 3:73, drum brake
  • T18 trans/ Dana 20 tcase
  • Replaced worn out 258 i6 with a 4.0l from a 1996 jeep, NOT FI, still stock single barrel carter YF/points, was cheapest replacement option as i could not locate a low mile 258 and discovered the 4.0l still retains all stock mounting locations for orignal engine mounts, basically bolt in replacement for 258 ( i do have the 258 crank/rods as i had planned to do a 4.6l stroker with this 4.0l but the 4.0l is so reliable and runs so well i never pulled it apart to stroke it)
  • 4 point cage (kit tied into stock rear)
  • manual steering
  • manual brakes
  • Warn belleview winch w/ new 14k cable
  • extended front shock towers w/ rancho shocks
  • M.O.R.E bombproof motor mounts
  • new aluminum over size radiator
  • new water pump
  • electric fuel pump w/ pressure regulator and YJ filter
  • summit racing brake proportion valve
  • CB radio, Stereo, rear sound box
  • 4xrac Hi-lift mount & jack
  • 2 soft top’s and doors, bikini top and leather half doors.

Turn signals dont work, windshield wipers dont work, a little cold blooded on cold mornings, but i drive it very often to work, has road tripped up to the sierras many times, its turn key and id trust it any day of the week to go cross country (at 60mph) or hit the Rubicon/ Sierra’s

Clean title in hand, Smog free,

$5500, in no hurry to sell, would like to buy a newer JK so CJ has to go. Ive owned it for 6-7 years, i rebuilt it from a bare frame in my garage, literally had my hands on every nut/bolt/bearing/seal except engine & trans internals.
